Quality Switchgear Engineer

Saudi Diesel Equipment is seeking applications for a quality engineer to join the Switchgear division. The responsibilities for the job are as below: 

1. Report all defective parts during testing by raising NCR’s
2. Review weekly WO Status Report and plan for the coming week testing efficiently
3. Testing & Troubleshooting LV Switchgear, MCC withdrawable, MCC fixed and all other panels.
4. Instructing to Preparing Control circuit Diagram
5. Raw Material Inspection
6. Mechanical Assembly Inspection
7. Electrical Assembly Inspection
8. Component Inspection
9. Preparing QC Report to Management
10. Preparing Warranty Letter to Customer
11.  Preparing QC certificates to Customer
12. Preparing rectification report and submitting to Weekly meeting
13. Communicating with customer for compliant
14. Visiting site on call & Solving Fault
15. Arranging service team for site work

For a candidate to be successful in the job the caniddate;'s profile should be as below: 

• At least Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Excellent knowledge of Reading Single line diagram, Control Diagram and Load scheduled
• Excellent skills in AutoCAD 3D & 2D software
• Excellent Knowledge in IEC- ANSI, NEMA standard
• Knowledge in Spaces selection in the Panel board
• Skills in Selecting suitable enclosure sizes
• Good knowledge in components ABB, Siemens, Schneider, Eton Etc.
• Good Knowledge in Design selection
• Skills in Selecting Control components and accessories.
• Good Knowledge in control circuits
• Good Knowledge in Short-circuit selection & curves
• Good knowledge in size of Components
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a switchgear manufacturing plant.
