Job Description

JASARA PMC, a leading construction and project management company, is currently seeking a Quality Manager to join our team. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control systems and processes to ensure the successful delivery of projects. You will collaborate with project teams to identify and address quality control issues, conduct regular inspections and audits, and develop corrective action plans. The ideal candidate has a strong background in quality management within the construction industry and is highly skilled in implementing quality assurance strategies.


Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates leadership behaviors, in line with the company values, at all times.   
  • Manages, coaches and mentors’ junior staff to successfully contribute to the department deliverables.   
  • Works proactively with District/Project Leadership and teams to implement and deliver assets in line with client Quality processes and guidelines.   
  • Implements the program quality plans, including project audit to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and NQA-1 requirements.   
  • Responsible for review and implementation of Contractual requirements, Project Specifications, Project Quality Plan & job specific procedures, and Quality Management RACI Matrix.  
  • Validates and verifies Quality Reports and Ensures KPI targets are achieved.  
  • Manage and track project corrective actions/preventive actions, non-conformances and deviations and progress to closure.  
  • Work closely with integrated Teams on the project for integrated quality with all key stakeholders.  
  • Reports quality issues to the Project Quality Leadership and develops appropriate recommendations/resolutions/mitigations as necessary.  
  • Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and quality standards, policies and procedures.  
  • Provides outreach oversight and provides coaching and guidance to the quality program activities concerning day to day performance of the work scope.  
  • Facilitates forming partnerships with key stakeholders and organizations on the project to facilitate achievement of quality objectives.  
  • Responsible for on-site oversight of all quality compliance among Project teams.  
  • Assigns work to Quality Engineers, oversees and tracks progress of activities.  
  • Interviews and selects personnel for assignment as required.  
  • Maintains clear and concise work standards and goals; provides training and development; completes performance evaluations, conducts employee counselling, takes corrective action as necessary.  
  • Conducts Quality Management System kick-off meeting for the new Contractors and Consultants.  
  • Reviews and contributes in PQQs.  
  • Highlights quality risks, identifies potential issues early, intervenes and facilitates the mitigation or resolution strategies
