Quality Control Officer "Microbiologist"

As a Quality Control Microbiologist Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, process water, packing materials, in-process samples, and finished cosmetic products.
• Periodically validate and continuously improve microbiological testing methods and procedures
• Maintain Cultures & Reagents necessary for ensuring accuracy & reliability.
• Investigate and resolve any microbiological non-conformances, and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Monitor environmental conditions and cleanliness of production and testing areas and ensure necessary follow-up to keep them under control.

To be successful in the role, you should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related scientific discipline
• 2 - 3 hands-on-experience experience as a Microbiologist in the cosmetic or pharmaceutical industry
• Proficient in performing a wide range of microbiological tests, including  microbial enumeration, pathogen detection, antimicrobial efficacy testing, and environmental monitoring
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EU Cosmetics Regulation)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
