Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans for construction projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections of materials, equipment, and work in progress to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and document project progress to identify and address potential quality issues.
  • Review and approve material submittals and shop drawings.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, quality control records, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for quality problems and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and quality control advancements.



Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in quality control or a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in quality control software and tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
