Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures for railway projects
- Conduct audits and inspections to identify any quality issues and ensure compliance with project specifications
- Monitor and track quality metrics and report on any deviations or non-conformities
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on quality standards and procedures
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify and resolve quality issues
- Participate in design and construction reviews to ensure quality is built into the project from the beginning
- Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection and testing plans, procedures, and reports
- Conduct training and workshops on quality assurance for project teams and contractors
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to railway projects
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders on quality assurance matters and address any concerns or issues that arise
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the railway industry
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards, such as ISO 9001 and EN 50126
- Experience in conducting audits and inspections and developing quality control documentation
- Familiarity with railway construction and design processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Willingness to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
