Job Description

The QC Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that all construction projects meet the required quality standards and regulations. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of civil engineering projects and ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. The QC Manager will oversee quality control processes, implement quality assurance measures, and lead a team of quality inspectors to ensure compliance with industry standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards for construction projects.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  3. Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports and quality manuals.
  4. Train and supervise quality control staff to ensure effective quality assurance practices.
  5. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address quality-related issues.
  6. Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  7. Ensure that all materials and workmanship meet project specifications.
  8. Participate in project meetings to provide updates on quality control activities.
  9. Implement corrective actions for non-conformance issues.
  10. Stay updated on industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
