Key Responsibilities:Quality Management System Implementation:Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP), ensuring it aligns with industry standards and project requirements.Ensure that all project activities comply with the company’s quality standards and policies, including relevant codes, regulations, and contractual obligations.Establish and manage the overall QA/QC procedures for the project, including inspection, testing, and reporting systems.Leadership and Coordination:Lead the QA/QC team, ensuring effective execution of quality control activities across the entire project.Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure quality processes are followed on site.Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to junior quality assurance and control staff.Conduct regular meetings with project teams to review quality-related issues, non-conformances, and corrective actions.Inspection and Testing:Oversee and coordinate the inspection and testing of materials, systems, and finished work, ensuring compliance with design specifications.Ensure that all construction materials are tested and certified as per project requirements.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship meets project quality standards.Review and approve inspection and test plans (ITPs) for construction activities.Non-Conformance and Corrective Actions:Monitor and manage non-conformances, including initiating corrective actions and ensuring their resolution in a timely manner.Implement a system for tracking and managing all quality issues, defects, and deviations, and ensure appropriate documentation.Oversee the root cause analysis of issues and provide corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) for continual improvement.Documentation and Reporting:Ensure all quality-related documentation is recorded, tracked, and filed correctly for easy retrieval.Prepare and present regular quality performance reports to senior management and stakeholders.Ensure that all quality audits and inspections are documented and that corrective actions are effectively closed out.Oversee the preparation and submission of final project quality reports.Compliance and Audits:Lead internal and external quality audits to verify compliance with relevant standards and regulations.Stay up-to-date on industry standards and regulations, ensuring the project complies with all applicable laws and requirements.Assist in the preparation and support of regulatory inspections and certifications, including environmental and safety compliance.Risk Management:Identify quality risks and implement mitigation strategies.Ensure that all quality-related risks are documented, communicated, and managed proactively.Participate in project planning and risk management meetings to ensure quality concerns are addressed from the outset.
