Job Description

The QA/QC Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards in agricultural production processes. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance and quality control systems to ensure that products meet both internal and external quality standards. The QA/QC Manager will work closely with various departments to foster a culture of quality and compliance, ensuring that all agricultural products are safe, effective, and of the highest quality for consumers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Collaborate with production teams to establish quality benchmarks and performance metrics.
  4. Train and mentor staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
  5. Analyze quality data and prepare reports for management to inform decision-making.
  6. Manage non-conformance reports and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
  7. Ensure compliance with local and international agricultural regulations and standards.
  8. Lead root cause analysis investigations for quality failures and implement preventive measures.
  9. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality specifications.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality control technologies.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  3. Proven leadership experience in a quality management role.
  4. Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  6. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  7. Experience in agricultural or food production industries.
  8. Knowledge of quality management systems and tools.
  9. Proficient in data analysis software and quality management tools.
  10. Possession of a degree in civil, agricultural, or landscape architecture engineering.
  11. Minimum of 15 years of experience, preferably within Saudi Arabia.
  12. Experience working on projects funded by the Public Investment Fund (PIF).
  13. Certification as a CQI-IRCA QMS Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015.
