Job Description

The QA Operations Program Manager  is a critical function within the Mirai Studio. The role reports to the Director of QA Operations and is expected to to spearhead daily activities, optimise the work processes of the QA team, and focus on enabling the different QA pods to deliver on their objectives according to each game team partner, thanks to establishing common KPIs, CSFs, and SLAs. This role will be involved in the recruitment of talent in partnership with the QA leadership, and will collaborate with the Lead trainer to coordinate the on-boarding and various training activities and sessions.ResponsibilitiesProgram Management and Delivery Oversight: Supervise and manage daily activities and optimise the work processes of the QA team. Develop a clear vision of the game team’s objectives and manage their expectations. Ensure milestones are met on time and within budget. Identify the need for different testing strategies according to the phase of development. Identify and achieve CSFs, KPIs, SLAs, and other short/long-term goals and targets. Coordinate between Games Teams and QA to ensure seamless project delivery. Serve as a point of escalation for internal and external partners  Host quarterly business reviews and project retrospectives. Team Building and Resource Management: Assist with the recruitment of QA Testers and QA Leads.  Support staff according to the created structure plan. Develop and implement workforce strategies to scale the team as needed. Optimise team efficiency by managing workloads and ensuring proper resource allocation. Approve timesheets and manage absences and vacations of team members. Process Creation, Development, and Optimization: Develop and implement standardised QA project management processes and workflows. Continuously improve operational processes to enhance productivity and quality. Establish, monitor, and enhance data collection and measurement, enabling data-driven decision-making across all relevant teams. Create and implement scalable solutions based on best known methods. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement a robust individual coaching system. Enable team members in their work to promote their development in their position or career. Partner with internal stakeholders to design and implement an effective and scalable learning and development plan that supports desired performance and future site growth. Budgeting and Financial Management: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and expense tracking for QA service for assigned accounts. Manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality output. Cross-functional Communication and Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between internal QA teams and external partners, stakeholders, or clients. Ensure clear communication of project status, challenges, and results to stakeholders. Foster and champion a collaborative environment for problem-solving and decision-making across all teams. Take ownership, manage progress, and be held accountable for internal initiatives as assigned.
