About the role

This exciting opportunity will require someone to conduct self-audit programs onsite.




Key responsibilities
  • Responsible for product quality compliance and food safety improvement.
  • To standardize all QA work instructions, training, procedures & records.
  • Participate in the establishment and implementation of quality classifications, testing procedures and standards for raw materials for processes and recommend modifications or takes corrective action on raw materials, processes or quality standards were warranted as per the related risk assessments.
  • Responsible on follow up of corrective action request (CAR) management.
  • implementation of the Quality Management System and Food Safety Prerequisite Programs.
  • Development of the key support systems for Manufacturing Audits and certification schemes; this includes Contaminants Surveillance, CIP, CCPs, OPRPs, Allergen Validations, Change Management and Food Defence Programs.
  • Supporting the implementation of Quality System and Food Safety initiatives.
  • Supporting the Quality Compliance systems, Regulatory QA Validation, and compliance with (QC & QA Supervisors).
  • Play a part in ensuring site accreditation and certification (i.e., GFSI - FSSC, BRC etc, ISO, Halal, SFDA, customer audits) is obtained and maintained.
  • Facilitate quality system training and share learnings to functional team.
  • Support in ensuring that audit related root cause analysis & corrective and preventive actions are followed, tracked, controlled, and implemented.
  • Maintain Documentation System for Quality related Documents.
  • Assist site with documentation to ensure procedures, plans and work instructions are compliant with the GQMS.
  • Report audits & implementation metrices monthly.
  • Investigation on Customer Complaint Management System with the related records of initial reports, root causes and corrective, preventive actions.
  • Monthly quality related reporting of Customer complaints and related analysis.
  • Ensure laboratory equipment and instruments are correctly set up, maintained, and calibrated as per specific schedule and calibration control log.
  • Ensure all records are well documented and traceable.
  • Support with customer and third-party audits as required.
  • Checks & verifies documentation system is applied and signs them off.


Qualifications and skills
  • Preferably a bachelor’s degree in Food Science/Microbiology/Biotechnology with related manufacturing experience.
  • Preferably at least 2 years of relevant experience in a specialty or food manufacturing.
  • Experience in handling Internal & External audits in accordance with relevant norms/standards.
  • Well versed with food safety standards (FSSC 22000, HACCP, ISO 22000, Yum, BRC, BK etc.) documentation/ review/ updating/ continual improvements for system compliance.
  • Experience in quality problem identification & solving process with CAPA based on good industrial knowledge.
  • Online control documents / SOPs updating, correction, improvements, and monitoring.
  • Well experienced & competently trained in handling certification audits & customer audits like ISO /FSSC /BRC /YUM /SUBWAY /BURGERKING & local ministry & SFDA audits.
  • Promoting performance improvement and quality improvement programs throughout the organization.
  • Good to be fluent in English and have an analytical and objective mindset.
  • Good Knowledge in dealing with MS offices application (PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc).
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams at multi levels within the organization.
  • Excellent Interpersonal, communication, coaching and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to create close working relationship with the site Manufacturing, MN, WH and Quality Groups.
