What you will do;



The Programme Executive – Defence Engines will be accountable for managing and delivering the contracted defence business for the RRSAL primarily covering any Defence Programme in KSA/Region including EJ200, RB199 and Adour programmes.


The role leads the RRSAL interface with the RR Defence, Euro jet and Turbo-Union JV and Local Entities and leads new /contract renewal business campaigns.


Key Accountabilities


  • Manage and deliver all RRSAL contracted business, leading the customer interface management.                                                      
  • Ensure the enabling capability to deliver contract requirements is in place.                           
  • Manage the interface with the RR Defence Eurojet and Turbo-Union JVs and performance manage the EUROJET or Turbo-Union to meet contracted requirements.                                      
  • Manage all major and minor suppliers supporting RRSAL Defence contracts, such as SAFRAN, MEPC or any other supplier.
  • Resolve Defence engine customer issues and maintain targeted customer satisfaction levels.
  • Flow relevant aftermarket contract requirements to Services Value Streams - New Material, Used Material, MRO and Availability     
  • Deliver budgeted financial performance (P&L) including Op cost constraints                      
  • Lead RRSAL win business campaigns                                                 
  • Act as an intelligent customer for the business to improve customer satisfaction.   
  • Lead the programme team to achieve upper quartile employee engagement and satisfaction scores.                                                 
  • Define and monitor business performance metrics related to delivery of managed activities

Qualifications & Requirements


  • Extensive experience of operating within the RR Defence organisation                                  
  • Extensive  experience of managing Engine repair service / Availability contracts with direct customer interface management             
  • Internal and External stakeholder management experience                                                    
  • Previous experience managing a P&L                                                
  • People Management experience                                                        
  • Qualified to a degree level
