Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager - Civil Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within the water and sewage infrastructure sector. This role requires excellent project management skills, a solid understanding of water infrastructure, and the ability to lead project teams effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- PMP is a must
- Minimum of 10 years of experience within the water infrastructure industry.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale water and sewage infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of water networks, sewage networks, water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, and electromechanical works.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of water infrastructure projects, including water and sewage networks, water stations, and STP electromechanical works.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any issues or deviations from the plan.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
