Project Manager, Delivery
Role Summary:
The Project Manager, Delivery is responsible for leading logistics-related projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, budgets, and resources, and overseeing project execution to meet quality standards. The manager also ensures all logistics projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with industry regulations, working closely with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Project Planning & Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans that define scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects are aligned with company goals.
Budget & Resource Management: Oversee project budgets, allocate resources, and implement risk management strategies to control costs and ensure efficient project execution.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams (procurement, warehousing, transportation, etc.) and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks early in the project lifecycle and develop contingency plans to mitigate those risks.
Execution & Monitoring: Lead and manage the day-to-day execution of logistics projects, monitor progress, adjust plans as necessary, and ensure milestones are met on time.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure that all projects adhere to company standards, quality control processes, and industry regulations.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with project goals and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
Communication & Reporting: Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and successes, presenting reports, analyses, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop project teams, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and development opportunities.
Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement improvements in logistics processes and project management practices to enhance efficiency.
Data Analysis: Analyze project outcomes and leverage data to inform the planning and execution of future projects.
Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in logistics and supply chain management.
