Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for global customer onboarding projects; providing best practice oversight for ForeScout’s global medium- to large-scale product deployments, starting at the scoping/planning phase through installation and go-live. The project manager will support the development and maintenance of Project Management office (PMO) processes and project documentation and work closely with ForeScout’s Sales (Account Manager + Sales Engineer), customer success managers, resource management office (RMO) and support teams throughout project phases.

Overall responsibility for managing assigned projects, liaising with the sales team for a knowledge transfer post sale, and supporting the customers with the planning phase through installation and go-live, including:
Draft project plans tailored to the customer requirements. Attend internal and external project kick-off meetings/calls. Coach customers and Forescout project team on the Forescout best practice approach. Liaise with the Resource Management Office (RMO) to schedule Professional Services Engagements for customers. Communicate the project timelines and overall project status to all internal and external stakeholders on an agreed-upon regular cadence. Provide best practice oversight throughout the project deployment and report any concerns to key internal stakeholders to formulate a plan to get the customer back on track. Coordinate customer and internal timelines with regards to hardware/software delivery and consulting resource assignments. Liaise closely with the assigned Customer Success Manager to track, report, and follow through on customer requirements. Support monthly and quarterly business review calls. Alert key internal and external personnel of any issues that might affect the project deadline. Conduct lessons learned following completion of deliverables to feedback and improve project plan templates.
Support the development of project documentation and metrics to track customer success and ROI:
Project plans and trackers Develop measurable success criteria Work with customers to collect and track before/after data to show ROI for security, compliance, visibility, and IT automation.

What You Will Bring To Forescout

Minimum 3 years of IT experience in strategic planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of systems, preferably across multiple hardware and software platforms Proficient project management skills, effectively managing multiple medium-to-large projects in a cross-functional environment. Ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives and strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills. An understanding of cyber security standards, procedures, and technologies. Demonstrated excellent oral and written communications, including presentation skills with audiences of varying levels of management; ability to establish rapport, to garner influence and collaboration. Ability to work with stakeholders from different cultures, backgrounds, and across different time zones at times outside normal business hours, highly collaborative with excellent people skills. Ability to remain calm in stressful customer situations and apply good decision making to achieve a positive outcome. Proven long-term customer relationship development skills; passionate about customer success. Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, expected travel is up to 30%. Extended or non-traditional work hours may sometimes be required. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent certification required.
