We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects within the organization, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
  • Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field
  • Proven working experience as a project manager in the manufacturing industry
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
  • Experience with process improvement and lean methodologies is preferred
