THE ROLEYou will be responsible for providing structure and overall delivery vision on projects and for overseeing a client portfolio and to lead high-impact projects in the public art and arts & culture sectors. You will lead the overall strategy, development, and execution of large-scale public art and culture projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Create and implement comprehensive marketing and communications strategies to elevate public awareness and participation in public art programs.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Proven success in conceptualizing, developing, and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive engagement, participation, and awareness of public art projects. Leverage traditional, digital, and social media platforms to maximize reach and impact.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including artists, government agencies, cultural institutions, media, and the public. Act as the main point of contact between stakeholders and the project team to ensure smooth and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, creative, and operational teams. Mentor and develop junior team members to build capacity and ensure the successful execution of all project deliverables.
- Use strong analytical skills to measure the success of campaigns and initiatives through KPIs and data-driven insights. Prepare detailed project reports for internal and external stakeholders, including impact assessments and future recommendations.
Knowledge and Skills
- 20+ years of experience in marketing and communications with a Bachelor’s degree and a focus on public art programs or the arts and culture sector.
- Proven success in developing marketing campaigns that boost public awareness, engagement, and participation in public art initiatives is essential.
- Strong project management skills, manage budgets and resources effectively, and foster positive relationships with artists, stakeholders, media, and government agencies.
- Expertise in utilizing various marketing tools and platforms, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong analytical abilities are required.
- Experience working within diverse and multicultural environments, with a focus on fostering inclusivity and promoting cultural exchange.
- Experience in large-scale public art exhibitions, festivals, or major cultural programs.
- Knowledge of local, regional, and international arts and culture landscapes.
- Experience collaborating with governmental and non-governmental organizations in the public art sector.
