Project Duration: 14 months.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead a 14-month engagement focused on developing and executing operating models, excellence and quality management initiatives, and managing contracting processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project leadership, strong expertise in operational excellence, and the ability to deliver results in high-pressure environments. The role requires exceptional leadership capabilities to oversee project execution effectively, ensure stakeholder alignment, and meet all project milestones.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Provide overall direction and leadership for the project, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
- Operating Model Development: Lead the design and implementation of effective operating models to enhance organizational efficiency and scalability.
- Excellence and Quality Management: Drive initiatives to establish and uphold standards of operational excellence and quality management frameworks.
- Contract Management: Oversee contracting processes, including negotiations, vendor management, and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, manage resources, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery within budget.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams, to align project deliverables with expectations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate project success and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring effective collaboration.
Qualifications and Experience- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience:
- 18+ years of experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in operating models, quality management systems, and contracting processes.
- Experience leading large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects with a focus on operational excellence.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certifications are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar platforms.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead diverse teams, resolve conflicts, and drive organizational change.
