Project Director

Our client is looking for an experienced Events Project Director to lead and manage high-level, thought-leadership and business forums focused on impactful global issues such as investment, economic transformation, sustainability, nation-branding, innovation, youth engagement, sport, and culture.

In this role, you will oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and production to delivery and post-event wrap-up. You will be responsible for supervising cross-functional teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring executional excellence in all aspects of event delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall execution of high-profile events, including cross-functional team coordination (project, content, production, logistics, operations, audience).

• Ensure the highest quality of deliverables and executional excellence throughout the event lifecycle.

• Proactively manage the entire project lifecycle, from concept and planning to post-event wrap-up.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular progress reports and managing communication throughout the project.

• Drive strategic discussions with clients around the project’s value proposition and strategic positioning.

• Develop and manage budgets, project plans, and staffing for multiple projects simultaneously.

• Manage vendors and consultants to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

• Create and optimize workflows and processes to streamline event operations.

• Handle project issue escalation and resolution with senior leadership.

• Assist with onboarding, training, and managing the project team.
