Job Summary:


We are seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to manage contractors and support office projects, including setup, maintenance, renovations, and other operational tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating with contractors, strong negotiation skills, and basic project management knowledge. This role is crucial in ensuring that all contractor-related tasks are completed efficiently, within budget, and to a high standard, while also supporting the ongoing operations of the office.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Contractor Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors involved in office setup, maintenance, and renovations.


    • Coordinate and schedule contractor work, ensuring projects are completed on time and to specification.


    • Oversee the quality of work and troubleshoot any issues that arise during project execution.


  • Negotiation & Cost Control:
    • Negotiate contracts and pricing with contractors to secure cost-effective solutions.


    • Regularly evaluate contractor performance to ensure adherence to company standards.


  • Project Coordination:
    • Develop project timelines, monitor progress, and ensure materials and services are delivered on schedule.


  • Communication & Reporting:
    • Provide regular updates to management on project status, contractor performance, and any challenges encountered.


    • Maintain clear communication between contractors, internal stakeholders, and office management.


    • Resolve any disputes with contractors or escalate issues as necessary.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.


  • Experience in office management, facilities management, or construction projects is advantageous.


  • Fluent in both English and Arabic (written and spoken).


  • Must hold a valid drivers license.


  • Proven experience working with contractors in a construction or maintenance environment.


  • Basic project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources.


  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.


  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic work environment.


  • Knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements is preferred.
