Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled
Project Controls Manager to join our Project & Development Services (PDS) team in KSA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-rise buildings and hotel projects. This role requires a professional with a deep understanding of project controls, including scheduling, cost management, and risk assessment, to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain project control systems and procedures for high-rise and hotel projects, ensuring accurate monitoring and reporting of project performance. Provide oversight and guidance on scheduling, cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting activities throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying critical paths, potential delays, and mitigation strategies. Monitor project budgets, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions to ensure projects are completed within budget. Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans to mitigate potential impacts on project timelines and costs. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather necessary project data and ensure alignment with project goals. Produce regular reports and presentations for senior management and clients, detailing project status, forecasts, and any deviation from the project plan. Lead cost control and change management efforts, ensuring all changes are documented, analyzed, and authorized appropriately. Implement best practices for project controls and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. Train and mentor team members on project controls processes and tools, fostering a culture of excellence and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus. Minimum of 8-10 years of project controls experience, with a strong focus on high-rise buildings and hotel projects. In-depth knowledge of project management principles, budgeting, cost control, and scheduling techniques. Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and cost management tools. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
