Job Description

The Production Supervisor for Vegetables plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the vegetable production line within the food and beverage industry. This position requires a dedicated individual who can ensure that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. The Production Supervisor will work closely with team members to optimize processes, manage resources effectively, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily vegetable production operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
  2. Manage and train production staff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  3. Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet changing demands.
  4. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and production areas to maintain cleanliness and safety.
  5. Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes.
  6. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure product compliance with health regulations.
  7. Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  8. Coordinate with supply chain management to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
  9. Prepare reports on production performance and present findings to management.
  10. Assist in the development of new products and processes to enhance production capabilities.
