  • Review Work Orders, check for accuracy, and schedule production to meet required deadlines.
  • Supervise staff and allocate labor resources to meet production targets.
  • Request, train, and supervise temporary labor as required to fulfill stock commitments.
  • Ensure that 100% of the product undergoes QC inspection before release to stock or the shipping department.
  • Maintain suitable stock levels of required tools, equipment, and consumables.
  • Liaise with Inventory and Receiving departments to ensure the availability of necessary components.
  • Ensure that all necessary equipment is available, well-maintained, and calibrated as required.
  • Ensure department staff are fully trained and informed on company processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain and report employee timecards for payroll purposes.
  • Foster a positive atmosphere and team spirit within the department.
  • Ability to assess situations and make informed decisions quickly.
  • Problem-solving skills to address production issues and prevent delays.
  • Ensuring accuracy in work orders and adherence to production standards.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in the FMCG industry.
  • Efficiently managing time and resources to meet production schedules.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
