Coordinate with sales team, project and production managers, engineers, and other team members to gather necessary information for production planning and scheduling.
- Monitor ongoing production progress and performance, identifying potential delays or issues, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure that production plans and schedules are updated regularly and accurately to reflect the current status of all production activities.
- Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address potential production risks and challenges.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and other departments to ensure timely availability of resources and materials.
- Prepare and present production status reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies, to the general manager and other stakeholders.
- Analyze production performance of ongoing production orders to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among production team members, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of production progress and changes.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in production planning and scheduling processes.
- Maintain production planning documentation, including schedules, plans, and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, preferably masters in industrial management,
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in production planning and scheduling, preferably in steel industry.
- Proficiency in production management software (e.g., Power BI, ERP system) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in risk management and resource optimization.
- Strong understanding of production management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and team collaboration skills.
