On behalf of our client, we are looking for Production Manager to join their company.
Job Summary:Oversee operations at our central kitchen facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of production, including planning, organizing, and coordinating the preparation of food items.Responsibilities
Planning and Supervising Production:
• Developing and implementing
production plans in line with restaurant orders and schedules.
• Monitoring production operations to ensure compliance with schedules and
production targets.
Quality Control:
• Monitoring the quality of raw
materials, semi-finished products, and finished products to ensure compliance
with quality and food safety standards.
• Working with the quality department to implement HACCP and ISO systems or any
other health systems.
Managing Operational Processes:
• Ensuring optimal use of physical and
human resources to achieve efficient production.
• Monitoring daily operations in the factory, including regular maintenance of
machinery and equipment.
Team Management:
• Leading and guiding the production
team to achieve objectives.
• Training and developing team skills to improve performance and compliance
with policies.
Inventory Management:
• Monitoring inventory levels of raw
materials and finished products and coordinating procurement requests with
relevant departments.
• Supervising storage operations to ensure safe and healthy storage.
Analysis and Reporting:
• Preparing regular reports on
production performance, product quality, and operating costs.
• Analyzing data to identify improvement opportunities and providing
recommendations to senior management.
Compliance with Systems:
•
Ensuring the factory's compliance with health regulations, environmental
regulations, and general safety standards.
• Monitoring legislative and regulatory developments that impact production
activities.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications and
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial
Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- Practical experience of at least 5 years in production management, preferably
in the food and beverage sector.
- Deep knowledge of quality
standards and food safety.
- Strong leadership skills and the
ability to manage a diverse team.
- Familiarity with Enterprise
Resource Planning (ERP) systems and production management programs.
- HACCP Certificate (Hazard
Analysis and Critical Control Points System): To ensure food safety and risk
management.
- ISO 22000 Certificate: For food
safety management systems.
- Total Quality Management (TQM)
Certificate: For quality control in production and process improvement.
- Occupational Safety and Health
Administration (OSHA) Certificate: To ensure a safe work environment.
- Supply Chain Management
Certificate: To ensure effective management of raw materials and inventory.
Required Skills:

Reporting Relationships:
- Reports to: General Manager or
Operations Manager.
- Supervises: Production team,
operation and maintenance technicians.
Work Environment:
- Working in an intensive factory
environment that requires strict adherence to health and safety procedures.
- May require working extra hours or holidays at
times to meet demands.
