Job Description

Job Title: Production Engineer

Location: Dhahran, Saudi Arabia

 

Job Summary:

The Production Engineer evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, and gathering insights from technicians

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and maintain the manufacturing of cabinets.
  • Identify and resolve issues affecting production yield.
  • Ensure adherence to the assembly schedule and execute projects as planned
  • Apply Lean methodologies to reduce manufacturing costs by eliminating non-value-added operations.
  • Conduct industrial engineering activities, including time studies, line layout design, and capacity studies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date manufacturing documentation and cabinet books.
  • Provide technical support and training for technicians.
  • Coordinate with other functional groups on engineering and manufacturing-related issues.
  • Use engineering and statistical tools to resolve manufacturing problems.
  • Prepare reports on production performance for management.
  • Develop and optimize processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Evaluate and enhance material and product flow through manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with international workmanship standards for mechanical assembly and wiring, and provide training as needed.
  • Establish strong working relationships with integrator partners.

 

Other Duties:

  • Implement quality control and assurance measures within the project scope
  • Support the execution of Dammam iCenter’s IMS processes/documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as required by the business, particularly strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct customer input reviews and gap analyses.
  • Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM).
  • Assist in PMO project execution, including documentation, tools, and standards.

Requirements & Preferences:

Education: B.S. in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with DeltaV hardware.
  • Preferably experienced in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
