Job Title: Production Engineer
Location: Dhahran, Saudi Arabia
Job Summary:
The Production Engineer evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, and gathering insights from technicians
Main Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and maintain the manufacturing of cabinets.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting production yield.
- Ensure adherence to the assembly schedule and execute projects as planned
- Apply Lean methodologies to reduce manufacturing costs by eliminating non-value-added operations.
- Conduct industrial engineering activities, including time studies, line layout design, and capacity studies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date manufacturing documentation and cabinet books.
- Provide technical support and training for technicians.
- Coordinate with other functional groups on engineering and manufacturing-related issues.
- Use engineering and statistical tools to resolve manufacturing problems.
- Prepare reports on production performance for management.
- Develop and optimize processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Evaluate and enhance material and product flow through manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with international workmanship standards for mechanical assembly and wiring, and provide training as needed.
- Establish strong working relationships with integrator partners.
Other Duties:
- Implement quality control and assurance measures within the project scope
- Support the execution of Dammam iCenter’s IMS processes/documentation.
- Perform additional duties as required by the business, particularly strategic initiatives.
- Conduct customer input reviews and gap analyses.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Assist in PMO project execution, including documentation, tools, and standards.
Requirements & Preferences:
Education: B.S. in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with DeltaV hardware.
- Preferably experienced in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
