Job Description

ChampionX has an immediate need for a Production Associate based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for the daily production, testing, material transfer, packing and labelling operations of the day in a manner that is safe to themselves, his colleagues, and the environment. This role is also responsible for timeliness, cleanliness, and productivity. This person must implement best practices in production platforms. The role is multi-functional in terms of production, quality checking and ware-housing operations.

What You Will Do:


  • Follow the company policies including the quality, safety, health, and environment policies, codes of conduct plus other local legal regulations.


  • Participate in daily meetings, awareness sessions and training courses.


  • Follow the relevant written work instructions, procedures, best practices, direct verbal instructions from the shift supervisors.


  • Handling the production equipment as necessary as per the work instructions, best practice or as instructed by shift supervisors.


  • Report any Process, Tools and Equipment Breakdown or Malfunctioning to direct supervisors or plant managers.


  • Wear the necessary Personal Protective Equipment’s as instructed or provided by the company policies and procedures.


  • Material transfer from/to containers/tanks/tankers, labeling the containers as provided by the company systems with correct raw materials consumption and final Products filling.


  • Materials sampling for Quality control purposes.


  • Responsible for his own safety and the safety of others by complying with all company regulations.


  • Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.


  • Cleaning and housekeeping activities for the plant, machinery and conducting minor maintenance works.


  • Report any unsafe acts or conditions or any spills or release of material.


  • Ensure chemicals storage are safe as per plant best practices and procedures.


  • Operation and handling of the forklifts after acquiring the necessary training and certification and as guided and instructed by the shift supervisors.


MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Diploma degree in Chemical Industrial Fields.


  • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar industrial fields.


  • Good troubleshooting skills.


  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
