Overview
The Product Analyst will be part of TV product and engineering team and required to write and develop requirements, define scope and objectives, testing, data migration, technical and functional design through to the final solution of subscriber management tools, website and multiscreen experiences/applications, from ideation to product launch, through to end-of-life management of existing products.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
- Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
- Assist in developing business and operational processes and to participate in developing system-training artefacts when required.
- Understand and evangelize customer needs, develop business cases prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
- Develop clear and detailed business/technical requirements that tie product development to the vision and growth objectives. Document business problems and solutions.
- Work closely with software project managers, developers, hardware manufacturers and technical solution providers, coordinating all relevant workstreams and stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- See/understand the end to end architecture of the products and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 2 or more years of relevant experience in Business Analyst – preferably in multi-screen application development.
- Deep understanding of CRM and subscriber management systems.
- Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Should analyze functional/non-functional requirements and seek clarifications for better understanding of requirements.
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or experience in software development and web technologies.
