Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contract Issuance and Management:
  • Prepare, review, and issue procurement contracts, purchase orders, and related documents in accordance with project requirements and company policies.
  • Ensure contracts accurately reflect negotiated terms, pricing, scope of work, delivery schedules, and other relevant details.
  1. Procurement Planning and Strategy:
  • Develop procurement strategies and plans aligned with project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define procurement requirements and objectives.
  1. Vendor Selection and Relationship Management:
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors based on capabilities, performance history, and compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships to optimize procurement outcomes and resolve issues promptly.
  1. Contract Negotiation:
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers/vendors to achieve cost savings, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Resolve contractual discrepancies and disputes in collaboration with legal and project management teams.
  1. Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks through proactive risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  1. Cost Management and Budget Control:
  • Monitor procurement expenditures against budgetary allocations and financial forecasts.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies to optimize procurement efficiency without compromising quality or project timelines.
  1. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, amendments, and correspondence.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, contract status, and performance metrics for management review.
  1. Process Improvement:
  • Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes, workflows, and systems to enhance efficiency, transparency, and compliance.
  • Recommend and implement best practices in contract issuance and procurement operations.
