The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process and ensuring the quality of materials and supplies. As a Procurement Quality Control Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards and efficiency within the procurement department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and supplies.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the received materials meet industry standards and project requirements.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to optimize procurement processes.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to identify and resolve any issues related to the quality of materials and supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including supplier performance and quality control metrics.
- Provide guidance and support to the procurement team to ensure compliance with quality control procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Procurement Quality Control Supervisor in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, quality control standards, and supplier management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize procurement processes.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Certification in procurement or quality control is a plus.
