Job Description

A Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager with previous proven experience in Sports Utilities domain to oversee all procurement activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services necessary for the Clients operations, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and procurement practices


Responsibilities:


  1. Procurement Strategy:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the club's goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.

Supplier Management:


  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.

Procurement Processes:


  • Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring efficiency and compliance with policies.
  • Implement best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

Cost Management:


  • Monitor and control procurement budgets and expenditures.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.

Quality Assurance:


  • Ensure that all procured goods and services meet the required quality standards.
  • Develop and enforce quality control procedures and policies.

Risk Management:


  • Identify potential risks in the procurement process and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.

7.Team Management:


  • Lead and manage the procurement team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and professional development for team members.

8. Reporting and Analysis:


  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance.
  • Use data analysis to inform decision-making and improve procurement processes.
