Procurement Manager - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing the acquisition of raw materials, packaging, and machinery for pharmaceutical manufacturing. This role includes leading a team, optimising procurement strategies, and coordinating with departments to achieve cost savings and support company growth.

Description Key Responsibilities:

Manage the acquisition of raw materials, packaging, and machinery.Supervise and guide a team of procurement professionals to enhance performance and efficiency.Formulate and implement procurement strategies to optimise costs and streamline supply chain processes.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and conditions.Identify and execute opportunities for cost reduction in procurement activities.Work closely with departments such as QC, R&D, Engineering, and Planning to ensure alignment with organisational needs.








Profile


7-8+ years of experience in procurement, specifically within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.In-depth understanding of procurement processes related to raw materials, packaging, and machinery.Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies that drive cost savings and efficiency.Strong skills in building and maintaining supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.Experience working closely with departments like QC, R&D, Engineering, and Planning.Fluency in both Arabic and English.Saudi national with a deep understanding of the local market and regulatory environment.
