An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Manager in the Red Sea region, on a remote location.


About the Job:


  • To manage the business with the cost-effective procurement and delivery of products and services 
  • Responsible for the day-to-day sourcing of new products
  • Prepare comparison of products including sampling where appropriate
  • Monitor and respond to supplier performance implementing appropriate corrective actions and advising of impending business risk.
  • Arrange and manage HOD’s meetings on a quarterly basis
  • Identify and maximize opportunities for cost and price reductions
  • Identify, propose and implement revenue generating initiatives where appropriate
  • Process and expedite purchase orders utilizing the companies’ procurement system as per the companies policy and procedures
  • Ensure all suppliers are in compliance with company policy and procedures
  • Prepare statistical and other reports in a comprehensive and accurate manner
  • Contribute to ideas and solutions for continuous contract development 

About you:


The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:


  • University graduate with a postgraduate degree or Master's in Materials Management
  • Minimum of 5 years in a procurement function
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Experience working with reputable procurement software
