Job Description

Procurement Management


  1. Work closely with key stakeholders to develop effective cost-reduction strategies and implementation plans
  2. Build sound relationships with the stakeholder by serving as a business partner, helping identify critical business requirements and providing sourcing and procurement services
  3. Leverage extensive market and supplier knowledge to drive lower the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
  4. Identify areas of opportunity for new process improvement and cost efficiencies
  5. Manage and review the contract preparation process as per the defined scope of work and specifications and ensure that all the parties adhere to the specified terms and conditions, timelines and quality
  6. Guide the team during the tender evaluation process by providing procurement and contract advice and support to facilitate the final selection of suppliers
  7. Set up a process of review for all contracts, supplies and suppliers ensuring that maximum benefits is achieved through supplier rationalization, and developing an approved supplier list
  8. Negotiate with external vendors to advantageous terms
  9. Support the procurement lead in the delivery of procurement strategies relating to all spend areas
  10. Deliver competitive advantage through cost savings, lifecycle value generation and demand management

People Management & Development


  1. Manage & evaluate employees’ performance with continuous feedback on their assigned tasks and provide development opportunities to maximize the potential and engagement of employees
  2. Manage the talent pipeline through effective utilization of employee development programs, mentoring programs, career planning, and succession planning
  3. Manage employee changes through continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices taking best practices into account, changes in standards, and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans

Policies, Processes & Procedures


  1. Manage the implementation of department procedures and controls covering all areas so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering quality, cost-effective services
  2. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible environmental attitude
  3. Ensure the implementation of various information security practices and standards to ensure compliance with relevant policies and the protection of Company data and information.
