Accountabilities: Main Activities
Prepare RFQ’s based on MR’s. and PO
Obtain quotations based on RFQ’s.
Qualify vendors / suppliers / sub-suppliers based on clients’ (Saudi Aramco for example) and APS’
project requirements.
Negotiate with vendors / suppliers / sub-suppliers for all items to be procured for APS (price, payment
terms, delivery schedule and terms, etc.). The list of vendors / suppliers / sub-suppliers includes both
IK and OOK entities. Visits may be required by this person to perform related job function / activities.
Procurement of materials and on-time delivery of the same is critical to success of projects and APS.
This person shall be pro-active in executing assigned and perceived responsibilities to ensure APS is
successful in delivering projects.
Update and monitor PTS (Procurement Tracking Sheet) in daily basis and all other report.
Follow up delivery of material to be sure received in our store as PO issued.
Development of New Vendor, Assessing the performance of the vendors based on various criterions
such as Percentage of rejection, Quality rating, On-time delivery, Credit terms, Pre-bid & Post-bid
response etc
Making contracts & agreement with long term suppliers, control cost & achieve cost reduction, cycle
time reduction, improvement in On-Time Delivery, improvement of vendor performance.
A. Minimum Qualifications:
B. Sc. In Mechanical or Electrical from a recognized university.
B. Minimum Experience:
Minimum four years of relevant experience in oil, gas, and petrochemicals sector.
C. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
Overall knowledge of procurement function from A to Z; excellent communication and writing skill;
top performer in terms of favorable negotiation and delivery.
