Key Accountabilities:
Lead the development and implementation of the organization's risk-based internal audit plan, aligning it with the company's strategic objectives and risk profile.
Prepares audit reports. Includes preparing summary of preliminary findings, discussing them with the manager concerned, preparing summary of actions which need to be taken, preparing recommendations for implementing action required and submitting audit report to Supervisor Internal Auditing.
Oversee the execution of complex audit engagements, providing technical guidance and quality assurance to the audit team.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their objectives, identify risks, and design appropriate audit testing procedures.
Present audit findings and proposed solutions to executive leadership, articulating the business impact and urgency of addressing identified issues.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in internal auditing to identify opportunities for improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting or Auditing; and CISA, CPA, CIA, CFE, ACA or CIMA
Minimum Experience:
Held a position in Internal Audit / Risk Management function of a multinational / Big 4 for at least 7-10 years (Experience of mining & mineral industry would be an added advantage);
