JOB DESCRIPTION – Principal Power Platform/BI Analyst

SUMMARY:

As a PowerApps Expert, you will focus on the design, development, and implementation of PowerApps solutions, PowerBI dashboards, leveraging the Power Platform to streamline project control processes for the NEOM program. Your role will involve building, updating, and maintaining PowerApps applications, managing data integration, and ensuring efficient performance reporting. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to drive automation, enhance data accessibility, and provide customized solutions that meet the reporting needs.

JOB DUTIES:

• Collaborate with NEOM’s Planning Managers and program leaders to identify requirements for custom PowerApps solutions, focusing on improving operational efficiency and data collection.
• Develop, customize, and maintain advanced PowerApps applications tailored to the program's needs.
• Integrate PowerApps with other Power Platform tools, including Power BI, Power Automate, and external data sources, to create seamless workflows.
• Ensure that PowerApps solutions provide real-time data updates and intuitive user experiences.
• Set up and maintain data validation processes, enabling efficient and accurate data collection across the program.
• Manage the security of Power platform applications, including user access rights and data permissions for team members.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of PowerApps and other Power Platform tools, ensuring smooth operations.
• Implement Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, …etc.) as needed to develop reporting solutions supporting program requirements.
• Support the transition of PowerApps solutions into long-term operational practices for the team.
• Provide ongoing PowerApps training and support to end users, ensuring high adoption and effective usage.

JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Business Analytics or Business Information Systems; 5+ years of experience.
• Strong understanding of Power Platform, Power BI, Office 365 and Reporting Services
• Extensive experience and expertise in Power Query (M), DAX and data modelling in Power BI
• Strong expertise in PowerApps design, customization, and development.
• Experience with Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate) for seamless integration and workflow automation.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Office 365 apps and web programming is preferred.
• Experience of data manipulation validation, and integration between different data sources and PowerApps.Demonstrable history of cross-team collaboration and the ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
• Ability to work and manage multiple projects simultaneously and to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand and translate business needs into user-friendly PowerApps solutions.
