Job briefing:


A Presales Engineer works closely with the sales and business development team before a deal is closed. He will be the customer’s most trusted advisor because he has a deep understanding of the company’s value proposition and the customer’s pain points. He will support the sales team all throughout the sales process and function as the technical resource for the team and the technical point of contact for the prospect deals. While the sales representative is in charge of all commercial aspects of a potential transaction, a presales engineer will be in charge of all its technical aspects. Once a sales rep schedules a meeting or demo with a new lead, the presales engineer will join the initial meeting and describe the company’s solution to the customer in technical terms. A presales engineer is a client-facing engineer. This role also requires a combination of technical proficiency, solution design skills, and effective communication to drive successful presale activities in the low current systems domain.


Activities, Responsibilities :

  • Technical Expertise:

o Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of low current systems, such as building management systems,

security systems, access control, CCTV, and fire detection.

o Provide technical guidance to sales teams and clients on system functionalities.

  • Solution Design:

o Collaborate with sales representatives to design tailored low current system solutions for clients.

o Create detailed system architecture and integration plans.

o Create the BOMs for the offered low current solution.

o Create the Compliance Matrix for the offered low current solution to the Customer specifications.

  • Product Presentations:

o Conduct presentations to showcase the offered low current systems features and capabilities.

o Customize presentations to align with client requirements and industry standards.

  • Proposal Development:

o Assist in creating comprehensive technical proposals for low current system projects.

o Work closely with the sales team and the procurement team to ensure accurate and competitive

pricing.

o Assist in translating the proposals and any relevant requirement documentation between English

and Arabic, and vice versa.

  • Client Engagement:

o Assist in pre/post qualification the company with the clients. Support in processing the

qualification requests and preparing the qualification submittals.

o Engage with clients to understand their security and system needs.

o Address technical queries and provide pre-sales support to potential customers.

  • Technical Demonstrations:

o Conduct demonstrations of low current system solutions, highlighting key features and benefits.

o Assist clients in understanding the practical implementation of proposed solutions.

  • Collaboration with Stakeholders:

o Collaborate with internal teams, including supply chain, project management, and technical

support.

o Ensure smooth communication and coordination between technical and non-technical teams.

  • Industry Compliance:

o Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards related to low current systems.

o Stay updated on local regulations and compliance standards related to low current systems.

o Ensure proposed solutions adhere to relevant safety and security guidelines.

  • Training and Documentation:

o Provide training sessions for clients on the operation and maintenance of low current systems.

o Develop and maintain technical documentation for products and solutions.

  • • Feedback and Integration:

o Gather feedback from clients during the presales process to improve solution offerings.

o Work closely with the business development team to communicate client needs and market trends.

• Ability to use well-developed interpersonal communication skills including the ability to perform effectively in a team environment with a strong economic and quality focus to support the Company’s objectives.

• Undertake any additional task or activities that may be required by management considered to be within the competency of the role or experience of the individual.
