Job Description
As a Pre-Sales Lead, you will be the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners, responsible for architecting, designing, and delivering cutting-edge cloud solutions. Working closely with the sales and product teams, you will drive the technical side of the sales process, focusing on customer needs and demonstrating the value of our cloud offerings. The role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, excellent communication skills, and a strong customer-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Consultation and Solution Design
- Engage with customers to understand their cloud requirements and design tailored solutions that meet their technical and business objectives.
- Lead and develop high-level technical presentations and demonstrations that showcase the capabilities of the company’s cloud services.
- Serve as the technical authority, providing expertise in cloud architectures, migrations, and multi-cloud strategies.
Sales Support
- Collaborate with sales teams to position cloud solutions effectively, creating a technical roadmap that aligns with client objectives.
- Participate in customer meetings and serve as the technical point of contact during the sales lifecycle.
- Assist in proposal development, responding to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, ensuring technical feasibility and strategic alignment.
Customer Success and Relationship Building
- Foster strong relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on cloud best practices and future technology trends.
- Provide ongoing technical support during the initial onboarding phase, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal configuration of cloud solutions.
Market Research and Solution Innovation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging cloud technologies.
- Partner with product teams to provide customer feedback, influencing the development of new cloud offerings tailored to market needs.
Team Leadership and Mentorship
- Guide and mentor junior members of the pre-sales team, fostering a collaborative environment and knowledge-sharing.
- Conduct training sessions and technical workshops for both internal teams and external clients to boost product knowledge and capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud pre-sales or solutions engineering roles, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior capacity.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency with major cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and extensive knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, data management, and security.
- Certifications: Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect) are highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with an ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language.
- Expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud architectures.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering tailored solutions that address unique business needs.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred.
