Job Description

Role Summary:


PR & Events candidate should be an organized and cool-tempered professional who is able to handle a busy schedule, know how to deal with crisis. We expect you to have a creative mind and excellent communication skills. If you are also confident in your public speaking and project management abilities, we would like to meet you. Your goal will be to cultivate a positive company image.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Building positive relationships with stakeholders, media, and the public.
  • Planning and creating yearly events and PR calendars.
  • Coordinating with clients, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Forecasting market trends.
  • Maintaining a detailed and accurate record of events and PR activities/ communications and other related activities.
  • Measures and reports performance of all PR and event activities and brand awareness/recognition quarterly assessments (ROI and KPIs).
  • English/Arabic Copywriting.
  • Build events and PR guides, manuals, and checklists.
  • Collaborates with agencies and other vendor partners.
  • Flexible to explore different communications & marketing tasks.
  • Tailor PR plans to the planned events.
  • Preparing press releases, keynote speeches and promotional material.
  • Building positive relationships with stakeholders, media, and the public.
  • Address inquiries from the media and other parties.
  • Responding to requests for information release or press conference from the media or designating a spokesperson or source of information.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with consumer, community, employee, and public interest groups.
  • Writing press releases and other media communications to promote clients.
  • Studying the organization's objectives, promotional policies, and needs to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote products ideas, and services.
  • Prepare and submit PR reports.
  • Manage PR issues.
  • Creativity in securing coverage and buzz with traditional outlets.
  • Project and budget management skills.

Required Qualifications:


  • BSc/BA in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Required Skills:


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy: MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience managing media relations (online, broadcast and print).
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Creativity and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Strong leadership and managerial qualities.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and manage deadlines.
  • Fluent in both English and Arabic (spoken and written).
  • Proven working experience in events and PR, particularly within the industry.
  • Detail Oriented, Active, and enjoys being productive in a busy environment.
