Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled PR and Communications Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This role involves developing and executing public relations strategies, managing internal and external communications, and enhancing our company’s reputation. The ideal candidate will work closely with the marketing manager and have a deep understanding of the Saudi Arabian market, cultural nuances, and effective communication strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement PR Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance the company’s image and visibility in the Saudi Arabian market.
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, including journalists and influencers. Craft compelling press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
  • Internal Communications: Manage internal communications to ensure alignment and engagement across the organization. Prepare and distribute internal newsletters, announcements, and other communications.
  • Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis communication plans to manage and mitigate any potential issues or negative publicity.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute company events, press conferences, and media briefings. Coordinate with vendors, manage logistics, and ensure successful event outcomes.
  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality content for various platforms, including websites, social media, and newsletters. Ensure that all content aligns with the company’s branding and messaging.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and public opinion. Use insights to adjust communication strategies accordingly.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of PR and communication efforts. Prepare reports on media coverage, engagement metrics, and overall impact.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in public relations, or communications, with a strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian market.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.

Proven track record of successful PR campaigns, media relations, and crisis management.

Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience working in the IT industry or related sectors.

Knowledge of Saudi Arabian business practices and cultural sensitivities.

Established network of media contacts in Saudi Arabia.
