Overview We are seeking Planning & Performance Analyst to join New Energies Planning & Performance Group The New Energies Planning Group oversees comprehensive reporting across various timeframes, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually, to assess the organization's overall performance. Additionally, they develop strategic plans and business strategies. As a Planning & Performance Analyst, you will be responsible in executing, planning and performance management (P&PM) analytical activities. This extends to monitoring departmental expenditures, analyzing variances, correcting errors, and consolidating performance inputs from transactions, key performance indicators (KPIs), narrative, risk assessments, and more. Key Responsibilities As a successful candidate, you will be required to perform the following:
Provide analytical findings & recommendations relating to P&PM tasks such as business plan preparation, performance tracking and measurement, and performance analysis and accountability reporting.
Conduct special studies related to development of performance initiatives and business cases, benchmarking, risk management, design and re-design of measurements, processes and workflows, and information system-related changes.
Minimum Requirements As a successful candidate you will hold a:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
Advanced business degree (e.g., MBA) and/or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMA, CFA, CPA) is preferred.
Minimum 9 years of relevant working experience in Planning and Performance Management job roles preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
Solid knowledge and understanding of management accounting, finance, PowerPoint and Excel is required.
Demonstrated capability and track record in the practice of planning & performance management and in the use of business intelligence tools are required.
