About the Role:
We are hiring an experienced Planning Manager for our prestigious Tunnel MEP Fit-Out Project in Riyadh. As the Planning Manager, you will lead the planning and scheduling efforts for this high-profile project, ensuring alignment with project objectives and milestones.
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with a proven track record of managing complex infrastructure projects, particularly those involving tunnel construction and MEP fit-out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Scheduling:
Develop and maintain the project master schedule, incorporating all construction, MEP fit-out, civil, and architectural finishing activities. - Coordination with Stakeholders:
Liaise with project consultants, including Parsons and AECOM, to ensure alignment on planning deliverables. Facilitate regular progress updates and workshops. - Restore and Recovery Planning:
Identify delays and formulate restore/recovery plans, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines. - Performance Monitoring:
Monitor the project’s progress, identify critical paths, and ensure adherence to milestones. Provide weekly and monthly progress reports to management and stakeholders. - Resource Management:
Optimize resource allocation and ensure efficient utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment. - Risk Management:
Proactively identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and incorporate contingency plans within the project schedule. - Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a team of planners and schedulers, fostering collaboration and ensuring high performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. - Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven expertise in infrastructure projects, particularly in tunnel construction and MEP fit-out.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6,
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 applications, especially Excel (advanced formulas, macros, and data analysis),
- Proficiency in Power BI for creating detailed and visually compelling reports and Data Analytics,
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience of restore/recovery planning methodologies.
- Certifications:
- Prince2 certification or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
