Planning Director - Construction | Saudi Arabia

As a Planning Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and scheduling of construction projects. Your role will ensure that projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and aligned with contractual obligations.

• Lead the development of detailed project plans and schedules for all construction projects.
• Establish project timelines, resource plans, and milestones in alignment with contractual obligations and project requirements.
• Implement critical path and fast-track construction scheduling techniques to optimize project timelines.
• Analyse resource needs, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project execution.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to align resource availability with project schedules.
• Work closely with project managers, construction teams, and external consultants to ensure alignment on project deliverables
• Communicate project plans, updates, and progress reports to executive management and stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on project performance, including tracking key milestones, budget adherence, and resource utilization.

We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management or related fields.
• 10+ years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or construction management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale, complex construction projects.
• Expertise in planning and scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Deep understanding of construction processes and methodologies.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience in IPO listed company is a plus.
