Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for safe working practices both personally and in their designs, using the Worley framework.
  • Ensure they understand and apply the WorleyParsons quality management system (EMS).
  • Ensure design work conforms to applicable specifications, codes and standards.
  • Prepare engineering piping models, drawings and documentation.
  • Ensure checking procedures are adhered to before issue of drawings and documents, to ensure no rework due to errors in design.
  • Maintain project history files and data in accordance with the WorleyParsons EMS.
  • Promote interdisciplinary communications on projects.
  • Adhere to project scope and schedules for design and drafting work.
  • Assist and mentor trainee and junior designers in the project group.



Job Specific Knowledge:


  • Designs for constructability, commissioning, operations and maintenance.

Industry Specific Experience:


  • Relevant experience experience in the relevant industry.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:


  • Diploma or Bachelor degree of Engineering in the relevant field or equivalent

HSE Capability:


  • Demonstrate high standard of personal safety, safe working practices and adherence to WorleyParsons
  • One Way procedures and Customer HES standards.

IT Skills:


  • Competent in CAD software, project specific database packages and Microsoft Basic packages.

People Skills:


  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Work as part of a multi-discipline team.

Other:


  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously.
