JOB DESCRIPTION AND QUALIFICATIONS :
- Being a good team player, good communication and interpersonal skills
- Conduct SWP/CHWP training to issuers and receivers.
- Thorough knowledge of international standards for management of Health, Safety, Environment and Risk such as OSHA, NFPA, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Ability to work in a multifaceted / multinational organizational matrix with a variety of working relationships.
- Must have exceptional communication skills.
- Must be an expert with Microsoft office.
- Facilitate the coordination of SWP/CHWP’s required for specific work activities, serving as a central point of contact.
- Collaborate with the EHS team and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that all necessary SWP/CHWP’s are identified and obtained in a timely manner.
- Review and assess SWP/CHWP’s applications and associated documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure that all applicable regulatory requirements and safety standards are met when coordinating permits.
- Communicate CHWP status, conditions, and requirements to the relevant parties, including contractors and site personnel.
- Track CHWP expiration dates and renewal requirements to maintain compliance.
- Provide guidance and support to Air Products Managers, superintendents, and other team members involved in the permitting process.
- Act as a resource for answering questions and resolving issues related to CHWP’s.
- Continuously monitor and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the CHWP coordination process.
- Maintain clear records and documentation of all CHWP related activities.
- Provide advice and support to the construction & Commissioning teams on the process and procedures to be put in place to control the PTW system at site.
- Ensure full compliance with All associated Air Products Safe Work permits standards.
- Carry out PTW audits on the permits issued.
- Coordinate training requirements for Permit Issuers and Receivers.
- Send out notifications for pressure testing and radiography to AP and GC’s
- Maintain a log of all ‘live’ permits.
- Undertake regular HSE tours to ensure familiarity with the ongoing work activities at site.
- Plot all permits on a site layout to minimize concurrent / SIMOPS work activities.
- Mark ALL confined Spaces on plot plans maintained in the permit office.
- Maintain a register of all RAMS documents.
- Maintain custody of lock boxes inside the permit office, ensuring necessary approvals are obtained to release keys, and follow up to ensure all keys are returned that shift.
- Maintain a “live” register of all isolations (permit and non-permit) on site, when they are applied and removed.
- Issue LOTO equipment and apply permit LOTO where necessary.
- Issue and record the issue of personal locks to permit receivers.
- Review PTW’s, method statements and risk assessments prepared by the Contractor.
- Ensure work requests are submitted 24 hours in advance with all supporting documentation (RAMS, P&ID/SLD mark-up, isolation plan, etc.)
- Compile a list of all work requests for the following 24 hours and bring this information to the daily coordination meeting for SIMOPs review.
- Issue “SIMOPs Notifications” by email to the relevant Construction, Commissioning and GC distribution after the daily coordination meeting, notifying of authorized and non-authorized work.
- Maintain up-to-date lists in the permit office of trained personnel for permit issuers, receivers, LOTO authorized, confined space entrants.
- Update plot plans in the permit office showing the location of pre-commissioning and commissioning areas.
- Maintain an email distribution list for the GCs and distribute site safety notifications from the commissioning team to the GC workforce.
- Ensure that the site confined space and personal atmospheric monitors are signed out and in when required for different permits, and to keep these monitors charged and ready to be issued.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent is a mandatory requirement.
- Internationally recognized (IOSH / OSHA / Government Sponsored) short safety or environmental courses.
- ~7 years’ experience on international mega-Projects working, involved in PTW.
- Fluent spoken and written English
