Position Overview:
As the People & Culture Generalist, you’ll play a vital role in managing recruitment processes, overseeing people operations, and promoting employee engagement. This role ensures compliance with KSA labor laws, including work permits and IQama regulations, while fostering an inclusive and motivating work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to meet ZIWO’s hiring needs in KSA, with a focus on attracting and retaining top talent.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, to onboarding.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and set clear expectations for each role.
- Ensure full compliance with KSA labor laws during recruitment and hiring processes, including adherence to work permits and Iqama regulations.
- Maintain and update a talent pool database to ensure a continuous flow of qualified candidates.
- Prepare and manage job descriptions and advertisements to attract suitable candidates for each role.
People Operations:
- Administer and manage personnel records and documentation to comply with KSA labor laws and internal policies.
- Oversee employee benefits, attendance, and leave management systems, including handling sick leave, annual leave, and holidays according to KSA regulations.
- Facilitate employee onboarding, ensuring all legal paperwork and documentation, such as Iqama processing and labor contracts, are completed accurately.
- Process HR documentation for new hires and leavers, ensuring compliance with KSA’s General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) and labor laws.
- Stay informed about KSA labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices to ensure ZIWO’s compliance.
- Manage the exit process for departing employees, including conducting exit interviews and completing necessary documentation, such as resignation letters and termination forms.
Employee Engagement:
- Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work environment.
- Organize and coordinate employee activities, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives to boost employee satisfaction and well-being.
- Promote a culture of continuous feedback, collaboration, and recognition within the organization.
- Collect and analyze employee feedback to identify areas for improvement and suggest initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and provide effective solutions to improve morale and retention.
Compliance and Legal Responsibilities:
- Ensure all HR activities, policies, and procedures comply with KSA labor laws, including recruitment, contracts, terminations, and employee benefits.
- Prepare and manage work contracts to align with Saudi Labor Law requirements.
- Ensure timely submission of all necessary employee documentation for labor and immigration authorities, including Iqama renewals and work permits.
- Stay updated on changes to labor laws and adjust internal HR processes and policies accordingly to ensure compliance.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years in HR, talent acquisition, or people operations in KSA, ideally within a multinational or fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of KSA Labor Law: Expertise in labor law and compliance in KSA, including GOSI and employee contracts.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills in both Arabic and English.
- Employee Engagement: Proven experience in creating employee initiatives that support a positive workplace culture.
