The Payroll Specialist will work closely with HR to ensure that new employee records are set up correctly and assist in the resolution of any payroll-related inquiries. Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the payroll process, including data entry, payroll calculations, and distribution of payslips.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and update employee files with changes in compensation, benefits, and deductions.
  • Prepare and process payroll reports, including tax filings and year-end reports such as W-2s and 1099s.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure timely and accurate onboarding of new employees regarding payroll-related tasks.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and address issues in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with finance to reconcile payroll data with monthly financial reports and audits.
