The position


As a Payer Evidence Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing market access strategies, creating comprehensive strategies integrating pricing, reimbursement, and health technology assessment to ensure market access for company products. You will be also engaging with payers, integrated health systems, medical groups, government agencies, and health technology assessment groups and demonstrating the clinical and health outcomes, benefits, and value of company products to these stakeholders.


Your other responsibilities will be to


  • Conduct health economic modelling and evidence-based reviews and perform health economic modelling to support the value proposition of company products.
  • Review and integrate evidence-based medicine to inform market access strategies
  • Support real world evidence (RWE) development, engage in the development and delivery of RWE to support the clinical and economic value of company products and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to generate relevant RWE
  • Address inquiries to enhance understanding and knowledge of marketed products and related topics and provide scientific evidence and information to market access, medical groups, and other external customers.

Qualifications


You have a bachelor’s degree in health economics, Public Health, Pharmacy, or a related field. You should have at least 3 years of experience in market access, health economics, or payer evidence roles within an experience in health technology assessment and evidence-based medicine review. You have excellent command over both written and spoken English.

The Market Access and Public Affairs (MAPA) function is very critical to short-term and strategic affiliate priorities. To keep the focus on those responsibilities, MAPA team members are leading the transformation initiatives and striving for cross-function execution excellence internally and in the field. The function covers pricing activities, key account management for private, Field market access, and public affairs.
