Job Description
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the appropriate documentation relating to patient identification is available and submitted and that Consents to Treatment forms are completed and signed.
- Elicit information from patients and their relatives in a courteous manner, providing guidance and assistance as appropriate.
- Maintain highest levels of confidentiality and instill the need for confidentiality in subordinates.
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with KAAUH regulations and guidelines.
- Schedule patients’ appointments for treatment in Outpatient Clinics using the computerized system and Activate patient’s visit in HIS.
- Perform duties in relation to the Patient Information Centre by providing advice, guidance and direction to patients and relatives; dealing with telephone enquiries concerning patient location admission scheduling and waiting list status in compliance with rules on confidentiality.
- Maintains Inpatient Computer System in a timely manner by inputting patient data and checking aily census reports.
- Ensures through his/her actions, either directly or indirectly, that a superior quality of medical treatment, compassion and understanding is given to every patient served at the Hospital.
- Respects patients and their families to promote a patient-centered care culture.
- Participates in and supports quality improvement and patient safety activities as an individual or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Perform other job related duties as assigned.
Minimum or Required:
-Two and a half- years Diploma in Healthcare Administration or Health Administration or Hospital Administration or a related field.
-SCHS Registration/License
-2 Years of Experience
Preferred:
-Three- years Diploma in Healthcare Administration or Health Administration or Hospital Administration or a related field.
-SCHS Registration/License
-No Experience Required .
