Job Description

The Pastry Chef position in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals with a passion for creating exquisite desserts and pastries. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of sweet treats that not only taste delicious but also look visually appealing. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and create new dessert recipes and pastry items that align with the restaurant's theme.
  2. Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes.
  3. Ensure that all pastries are prepared and presented in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
  4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and kitchen area.
  5. Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and place orders as necessary.
  6. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control.
  7. Train and mentor junior pastry staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into pastry creations.
  9. Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
  10. Assist in menu planning and pricing for dessert items.
